How-to in September:
Have you noticed that more and more potential grant funding for MSMEs are on the rise as organisations channel their efforts to supporting small businesses to survive the pandemic’s effects? This is especially true for ventures whose goals are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). But who has any clue on how to write these proposals? These organisations certainly have a totally different “language” don’t they?
For this September’s class, we’re organising a panel of three who can guide the class on how to write grant proposals that may get you that funding you desperately need!
Meet our Panel of Speakers:

Ken Katafono
Ken is an ICT professional, consultant, and entrepreneur working in technology, agriculture, and fisheries. He co-founded Traseable Solutions in 2017 with his wife, Shauna, and together they have led innovative projects and digitisation efforts in the Pacific agriculture and fisheries sectors.

Rebecca Mcnaught
Rebecca has worked internationally and locally in the areas of climate change, disaster risk management, disaster resilience, sustainable agriculture and revegetation programmes. She currently runs her own consultancy business, Pacific Connections (Aust) which provides research, advisory and training services, and is undertaking her PhD on local level collaboration for resilience.

Marita Manley
Marita is the co-founder of two Fiji companies, Talanoa Treks and Talanoa Consulting, working on agriculture, environmental conservation, sustainable tourism, women’s economic empowerment and community development. She’s an environmental economist and has developed proposals and managed projects of all sizes.

If you missed the last Dreamer to Doer session last year, this is your chance to sign up for this upcoming one!
Join the Greenhouse Coworking Community for this FREE class where our Founder, Maria Ronna Luna Pastorizo-Sekiguchi, breaks it down on how you can get those BIG dreams and goals now. Does fear overcome you and stop you from taking any steps to achieving your dreams? Do you question yourself on whether you are doing the right things? Are you unsure on how to even begin?
Three takeaways that you are guaranteed to learn in this class:
- Learn a practical framework on how to turn your dreams into achievable goals (yes even during a pandemic).
- What to do when the fear and uncertainty steps in.
- How to create strategies and use tools that actually work for you so you are not giving up months later and throwing your long to-do list out the window!
Message from the Facilitator:
Bula I’m Ronna! Chief Dream-Achiever and Boss Momma of Dragons at Greenhouse Coworking and The Greenhouse Studio.
I know what it’s like, to dream so big that you’re left scared shitless. That and the thousand thoughts running in your head on how can you even begin with your multitude of roles, bills to pay, mouths to feed and you maybe think that people will laugh at you.
Over the years I’ve learned that there is a framework and a certain type of mindset that transforms dreamers to doers, and this has helped me in making things happen in every aspect of my life. From conquering the fear of the deep by learning how to scuba dive, hiking up and swimming on a volcano crater, traveling around Europe, bootstrapping a business, meeting President Obama and Michelle Obama (with other chosen Obama leaders but we were in the same room ok?😂), marrying my soulmate and bringing two little souls into the world!
My intention is to inspire and create that spark in you so you can begin to truly take charge of your life. Hope to see you in my class!
