As the host partner for this event by Art Talk Fiji, Greenhouse Coworking proudly supports the growth of all creative minds and creative spaces, and also want to contribute to saving the life of one of the creative arts’ fiercest supporters, Mr. Colin Philp. We encourage families to come with the kids, and bring their mats, food and drinks for this family-friendly event. TICKETS ARE $20 each and can be bought at GINGER CAFÉ.
Acoustic Verse, a poetry and music show, opens at Greenhouse Coworking on –
Saturday 11 December as a fundraiser for Matua and a community elder within the arts community, Mr. Colin Philp.
Colin, who has been an avid supporter of the development of the creative arts industry in its many forms and stages, was recently informed that he needed a liver transplant. It seemed only fitting that The Poetry Shop’s contribution towards his Go-Fund-Me campaign was done in the same vein of work that he always encouraged.
Acoustic Verse #2 brings you the same staple artists and musicians to the show including new artists such as Amelia Rigsby, Christonite Boginikua, and Jairus Mallam. Amelia Rigsby, a familiar face in media & communications, is a spoken word artist and co-organizer of the poetry movement in Fiji. Christonite Boginikua, a veteran DJ that founded the rave and DJ scene in Fiji, is part of the initial LIMEN team that founded the ‘Acoustic Verse’ series, while 7-year-old prodigy Jairus Mallam will be our star opening act as Fiji’s youngest DJ.
To support Colin Philp and Acoustic Verse, tickets are now available for purchase from Ginger Café at $20. There will also be show catalogs available for $10 at the event or at Ginger Cafe.

Event before the pandemic hit, most of us found it really difficult to focus and get important things done at a time where constant distractions and noise are the norm. So many emails, text messages, chat messages, phone calls, Youtube, Netflix, Facebook posts and the list goes on of everything interrupting your workflow. Now that most of us are working from home, it’s even become even more challenging with the addition of being around your children, housework, homeschooling, and if you live on your own, just so incredibly isolating and lonely.
We get it! Most of us are still learning how to work from home effectively. What if we told you there is a way to hack into your consciousness so you are able to tap into your state of flow to get those big items done and done?
